M100 (NGC 4321) and a few friends: A spiral galaxy in the constellation Coma Berenices. There are also very small galaxies just to the upper left (NGC 4323) and lower left (NGC 4328) of M100, along with a slightly larger galaxy near the upper right (IC 783). The bright galaxy in the lower right is NGC 4312. This image and one of M53 were my first successful guided images. I can't say I'm crazy about the color now that I look back at these...I'll just have to photograph them again next spring!
